We have had people say “wow you have a big wedding party” and our response has been “well, ya, when you have this many amazing people in your life and have been blessed with friendships such as these how could you not!”

So here they are, the friends and family who have made us the people we are!

The Brides Babes:

Adrien Broom: Margot’s sister and amazing artist adrienbroom.com, seriously check out her work it’s incredible. Margot & Adrien met in the spring of ’84 and have been bound by friendship, stolen clothing and summers together ever since. Adrien recently opened her first solo museum show at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers NY.

Meghan Woolery: Terry’s sister and mother to both Terry & Margot’s first niece baby Laurel. Meghan is Assistant District Attorney in Jefferson City, MO and an inspirational example of mother, wife, sister and daughter extraordinaire.

Mallory McClowry: Terry’s sister the beauty who has just begun her pursuit in a career in nursing which is extremely fitting and a true testament to her nurturing nature. Mallory recently took time away from Michigan to move in with Meghan and Dan to help  take care of baby Laurel while mom and dad headed back to saving the world.

Jameson Collingham: Childhood friend of Margot’s from Fishers Island and mother extraordinaire to our ring bearer Campbel and the newest member of the crew baby Clara! Jame and Margot met as awkward preteens and have been friends throughout high school, college hopping and this crazy life thing.

Charlotte Taylor: Charlotte is one of Margot’s oldest friends, meeting each other on fishers island during day camp in the 80’s. Charlotte is a world traveler who speaks 3 languages and has recently graduated from Harvard business school and is currently working on taking over the world.

Casey Cook: Casey is another one of Margot’s oldest friend from Fishers island. Casey’s incredible interior design sense and style has always been something that brought the girls together over the years, redecorating rooms on the island since an early age. Casey is a big wig in the PR world in NYC and kind of a bad ass on the dance floor.

Tiffany Soriente: TIff is one of Margot’s BFF’s and sorority sisters from college as well as yoga buddy for life. In the last couple of years Tiff left a crazy job in NYC to go back to school and pursue a career in social work. Tiff recently completed her yoga teacher training and is creating her own space for people to practice yoga in Long Island. Innovator bad ass with the best accent ever.

Aliza DeVincent: Aliza is one of Margot’s besties from college who will forever hold the record for making Margot do the craziest stuff of her life, ie: sky diving and bridge jumping. After QU, and backpacking with Marg across Europe, Leez attended Columbia Univ and graduated with a degree in child psychology which she is currently utilizing as a lead counselor and program developer in the MA school system.

Kristen Gunther: Kris is one of Margot’s oldest friends from grade school, the girls were inseparable since 4th grade until high school and college took them to different areas of the country.  M & K reunited when Kris moved back to CT from working in Hollywood to work for the family biz. Kris is now in grad school to become a teacher and has been working her butt off to graduate and start working with kids, which is her passion!

Christopher Anderson: Margot & Chris became friends in their high school years outside of Boston, Chris even saved Margot’s life once, true story. Chris has became a brother to Margot over the years and has always been a source of love and support through all her different stages and relationships in life. Chris and Terry had an immediate bro-mance upon meeting, Chis thrilled that Terry was “not a douche” like some of Margot’s other choices in dudes. Chris is not only one of Margot’s Brides Babes but is also officiating the wedding for the bride and groom.

The Grooms Men:

Matt McClowry: Terry’s brother, brilliant comedian and animal lover. Matt is currently traveling the US headlining comedy shows. Matt has recently moved to Brooklyn to build his career, which thrills Terry and Margot because they get to see a bit more of him.

Chris Hill: Chris started off as RA to some of Terry’s crazy football buddies at Uconn and quickly became one of the gang. After college Chris and Ter became roommates, living in multiple locations around New Haven. Chris has not only become one of Terry’s best friends in CT but has become like a brother to Margot and one of the family in the Broom’s households. He is also responsible for planning one of the most epic bachelor parties know to man.

Charlie Anderson: Charlie is Terry’s oldest friend from Michigan, they have know each other since first grade and have made a huge efforts to stay in touch with each others lives no matter how far apart they live. Charlie played collegiate and then professional baseball for the Toronto Blue Jays. Charlie has since Moved home to help run the family business and has become father to 2 beautiful children.

Christopher McClowry: Christopher is Terry’s Cousin, actually he is Terry’s dad’s twin brothers son, so as close to a brother you can get. Christopher’s family moved to CT in the 80’s which ended up working out in Terry’s favor when he attended prep school for football and lived with them. Christopher attended Yale while Terry was living in New Haven and the guys become very close,  producing some pretty ridiculous stories in the process. Christopher is an epic world traveler and a trader in Chicago.

 

Uyi Osunde: Uyi Was Terry’s first friend at Uconn. He took Terry under his wing and welcomed him into the football family. The guys lived together throughout college. After a short stint in the NFL, Uyi went back to school for his masters in education. Uyi is now the vice principle of a middle school in East Hartford CT, possibly the most effectively intimidating vice principle around.

Jassa Canth: Terry and Jassa met 10 years ago playing softball and quickly struck up a friendship. The guys have traveled together many times to the softball world tournament at Disney World which always ends up being more play time for the big kids. Jassa lives in Madison with his family and is currently in the running for father of the year.
